My 2017 Word of the Year

Last year, I started a new tradition of having a 'word of the year' to guide me through & to keep me focused on my goals and aspirations for the upcoming year. This year, the word I've chosen is...

Spring Makeup Look - Pale Blue Eyeliner

Now that it's getting warmer I've started to break out the bronzey, warm tones, I love them in the spring and summer. I was finishing my makeup when my pale blue Rimmel eyeliner caught my attention. I decided to throw it on for a pop of color to really embrace the springtime feel.

Splurge vs Save - Home Decor

Today, I'm back with the 2nd installment of my Splurge vs Save Feature, where I show you similar looking products with a not-so-similar price point. Lately, I've been swooning over home decor full of neutral tones, wood textures, and industrial/minimal vibes.

Staying On Track With Your Goals

Hello 2nd month of 2016, way to sneak up on us all! Now that it's February I'm sure some of us are starting to let their resolutions and goals fall by the waist side. It happens, life happens. But don't fret, we can always get back on track.

Easy Sunday Makeup

Easy like Sunday morning...a makeup look that is quick, fresh, & perfect for an easy going Sunday. I stuck with hydrating, creamy, and radiant products to keep my skin from looking dry and dull, and I must say, my skin really did look (and feel) better.

On My List - Winter Wardrobe

Today I'm introducing a new series called, On My List, where I show you several items that I'm currently loving but haven't had a chance to purchase. The series could include fashion things (like today), home decor things, makeup things... whatever I'm lusting over basically.

On Repeat | 003

Today I'm back with my 3rd installment of my series On Repeat where I share a few songs I've been listening to practically on repeat for the last few weeks (or months). Music is so essential to my life and happiness and always love discovering new artists and songs that can "feed my soul". Let's see what's been in my ears lately...

My 2016 Word of the Year

Well, we are officially in 2016 and I honestly feel SO good about it. I've been thinking a lot about what I want out of 2016 and decided to have a word focus to guide me throughout the upcoming year. I've seen several of these post floating around the blogosphere and decided to start my own little tradition of having a word focus for the year.

Splurge vs Save - Fashion Accessories

Here I go again, shamelessly browsing tons of online stores, daydreaming of filling my wardrobe full of lavish, high end items that will probably never make it past my virtual shopping cart.. What can I say, it's a guilty pleasure of mine. But then I started thinking, 'who says you can't look just as fabulous on a budget that's just a little closer to earth'? Plus, who wants to drop $42 on a hair pin anyway?

Neutral Nails - My Picks for Winter 2016

In the summer months I tend to go for warm corals, sea foam greens, and baby pinks. But in the winter I keep it neutral; the months are cooler, the trees have no color on them, it just works. Plus, there's really nothing quite as timeless as a nude nail color, is there? I wouldn't necessarily wear the 5 shades at the same time, although I did rock these for several days and I actually ended up really liking it.
